Hey AYM friends and family,

We have some exciting things coming in the new year!

Some of them have to do with our websites and web info. First of all this blog will be the official home of info for parents and volunteers. A place to connect with leadership and each other. Since www.apostlesyouth.com is the official site for students this will be our official site.

Please register, leave comments and INTERACT on this site with us.

Students you can redirect to www.apostlesyouth.com and get all the info on events, small groups and other new stuff for the new year and also see pics from previous hangings outs.

2011 is gonna be an incredible, awesome, rad, oh-yeah year!!!

FALL IS HERE ....... CHANGES ARE COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beginning in October AYM will start at 6PM! So eat dinner before you come. We'll be done around 7:30 and hey, we'll have snacks at the end!

10 – You Pick. on 10/3 we'll vote on what we wanna talk about. on 10/10, we'll talk about that. Dont just attend church, interact and be the church!

Tonight May 9 and HERO FEST

May I have your attention please. As you probably know, tonight, May 9, we will NOT be having AYM services since it is Mothers Day. Happy Mothers Day to all our mothers!!

HOWEVER, next Sunday night, we WILL have AYM and it's gonna rock!!

We'll be talking about HERO's. Come dressed like your favorite hero or bring a picture of them or bring a bobble head, stuffed animal or cookie (anything resembling them will do).

There will be FREE stuff for everyone who participates in the Hero Fest or anyone who brings a friend!!!

So what are you waiting for.

Rock & Worship Roadshow

April 16th at AA Center, show starts at 7 but we'll carpool and leave earlier.

Featured bands include; MercyMe, David Crowder Band, Family Force 5, Francesca Battistelli, Fee, Remedy Drive and Sidewalk Prophets.

Email Freddy Green (freddy.green@verizon.net) if you would like to go, plus how many you are bringing with you and if your parents can drive. The cost is $10.00.

Meeting Tonight (03.07.10) pt II

great meeting tonight. i really enjoyed getting to know both students and parents last night!

here are a couple of highlights from the meeting.


1. April 11 – 4.11 - FRIEND NIGHT.

Your friends need Christ and here is a chance to invite them to a cool
event and see what it is all about. April 11, 5pm – 7pm. Free Food,
Bungee Basketball, Bouncy Boxing, Live music an more.

2. No Youth Services March 14, Our next meeting is 5pm at
the Jeyarajah’s house.

3. NEVER MISS ANOTHER SUNDAY NIGHT EVER AGAIN! 5pm to 7pm….Get Rocked!

4. here are some things we handed out last night at the meeting
they are FYI and if anyone contacts you for them. Also, is there a way
to get the “tickets” on card stock and get about 50 of them made?

Meeting Tonight (03.07.10) pt I

tonight at 5pm is the first gathering of the new era. we will have refreshments, we'll chat, we'll cast vision and we'll begin a new journey together.

we will follow up on this meeting with part II and give new info and some dates and activities.

We are currently recruiting talent to help build and maintain a youth only website, but until then, we will be sharing this with our Parents and Staff. Once we launch our youth site, this will still be the place for parents and Sponsors (volunteer youth workers) to get info.
